The Barrier Lake is an artificial lake located in the Colonia neighborhood of Santa Ines in Puerto de la Torre district of the city of Malaga (Spain), along with one of three power generators in the city. Specifically it is located within the neighborhood of El Tejar. It has green areas and trails in their environment and has a dimension of 14,850 meters cubic.
It was created by the depression caused by the extraction of clay for brick making, much later to the location of settlers in the Colonia Santa Inés, settlers who were dedicated to the work of brick factories.
